What is Secret Santa, you ask? 

Secret Santa is a Christmas tradition, where the GIFTEE is left guessing who in the group was their GIFTER / Secret Santa. It’s a holiday classic where the guessing is as much a part of the fun as receiving the gift.

While people seems to have some of their own rules when it comes to Secret Santa, the idea can be traced back to the Scandinavian tradition of knocking on someone’s door, throwing a present inside when it opens, then running away. They called that JUKLAPP, translated as “knocking Christmas.” some say the roots may trace back even further to German legends about St. Nick’s helpers, who doled out presents to all kids, but one thing is for certain. The tradition continues to evolve over the years and this year, 2020, at PRAGNYA, we decided to add our own twist to this ... we present the ONLINE SECRET SANTA !! 

The rules are very simple actually... 

• You get to be the SECRET SANTA, by donating $20 that goes towards the purchase of a lovely gift / toy for a child from our community - children with special needs, which includes those in orphanages and special homes in our community. 

• And WE play the role of the SANTA's HELPERS :) and purchase the gifts package and deliver to the kiddos (of course being MINDFUL of  COVID safety guidelines) 

• Our Goal is to be able to bring a smile to 100 kids ($20 per kid) in our community, with your help and kind donations, which means you can help us reach our goal by donating multiple times, YES, you can be a SECRET SANTA to more than one child!
